In this week’s news I just put up my Christmas tree – YAY! I’m so behind this year and I don’t think I’ll actually get anything done in the front yard. It will be the first year in 8 Christmases that I haven’t had the front bedecked in a bazillion Christmas lights. In fact, if we’re being honest here, I just cleaned off the skeletons from Halloween off of my window two days ago – egads! There was even talk in the area about how I should just paint Santa hats on them all :)
Now, in news you’ll care about this link party is going to be rolling on an extra week. Yep, with next Sunday being so close to Christmas, the gals (Amy from Delineate Your Dwelling and Melissa from Two It Yourself) and I have decided that we’re going to sit next week out. But no worries! You’ll just have an extra link to add your fantastic links and give me even more fits in choosing my favorites!
But let’s move on to this awesome link party! Remember… If you want to pin these lovely projects or tweet them out to your followers, click through and share them from the original site. Give some love to those who worked hard on their amazing projects!
That is one awesome rustic Christmas tree, is it not? And look how it twinkles! I am a total sucker for the twinkle! See more (including another twinkly pic!) of this fantastic rustic tree at Scrapality!
This simple toy Christmas tree from Meeha Meeha is cute, fun and really unique. I love that you can use ornaments and toys that really mean something and not really worry too much about things matching perfectly. In fact, that’s the biggest part of the charm of this particular project I think. Quick DIY: Toy Christmas Tree.
I am completely in love with this lit canvas project from Persia Lou. Like I wish I made this yesterday sort of in love. And while Russell doesn’t know it, yet, he’s going to be running to town on a canvas run tomorrow because this WILL be happening on my Christmas mantel. Head on over to see this great post Lighted Christmas Canvas.
This belt buckle bracelet from Jewelry Making Journal is brilliant and it reminds me of my mother’s friend when I was an itty bitty thing. I remember her as being sophisticated and everything a little girl wants to grow up like and this bracelet reminds me of her in such a pleasant way. I want this one, but I’m quite happy that Rena Klingenberg provides an excellent tutorial so I can make my own!
I really like Amy from Homey Oh My and I often wish that I could execute my projects as elegantly simple as she does. I don’t know what it is, but not everyone can paint simple shapes on simple bowls and have them turn out so stunning. Know what I mean? Check out DIY Painted Bowls.
I have this weird obsession with potatoes. With every possible meal I want potatoes. Mashed, fried, with barbecue sauce, whatever I want ’em all. So when I saw these amazing Chili Loaded Potato Pancakes at This Silly Girls Life I about wigged out. I wasn’t even hungry but now I am just by a picture!
Pom pom wreaths are everywhere and I gotta say I’m a fan of them all. But when I saw this SPECIFIC pom pom wreath from Just B Crafty I was moved to want to make one immediately and that’s saying something! Just today I saw 3 different pom pom wreaths and I was all “cute” onto the next post but this one made me want to make one just like it!
And don’t forget… you have THREE TIMES the potential for comment love, social shares and featured favorites this coming Sunday, so link up!!! And be sure to share the love with your friends! Grab the buttons below to show you’ve been featured or that you proudly link up!
Share the love, grab a button!
The RULES – none = chaos:
- Link anything you made yourself but nothing that is available for sale. (you don’t have to have a blog or site just leave that bit empty or link up your Facebook profile, etc.)
- Link back to Dream a Little Bigger to be considered for next week’s feature roundup! (you can grab that awesome button up there – hubba hubba!)
- Click through one or two of your favorite links and leave some comment love!
- Entries are randomly placed so that everyone gets top billing. I HATE when I get to a party late and my links get stuck somewhere in the middle! Well, that’s not gonna happen here, folks!
