Well, I’m still playing catch up from my Spring Break week. Is it a bit hectic? Um, yeah. Would I do it all over again? You know it!
In around here news the bird feeders have been put back up around the windows for spring. And the cats are so into them. It’s a blessing because they often are out of my crafty way at the window. But when I’m working on my computer, I have 3-4 cats hissing and swishing their tails on my desk. It’s a challenge and makes blogging kind of like a cat filled gauntlet.
I also purchased some kinetic sand from Michael’s and was totally surprised that I spent $16 for sand. But what can I say? I was entranced by the little sample of it at the cashier while I was checking out. *shakes fist at skillful marketing technique employed that did get me to drop 16 smackaroos for, shall I say it again? SAND!
But let’s move on…

I love this Gingers Unite fox poster. It’s just so much fun and so cute! This sucker is getting placed prominently on my office wall :) Get your own and give a shout to the talented creator Carmody, who besides being creative, is also a licensed private investigator (neat!), over at Paper & Fox.
These bud vases from View from the Fridge are genius. Yes, you heard me, they’re absolutely genius and I totally wish I had thought of them myself. Plus they’re super pretty and super easy to make. Total win, right? Room & Board ‘Little Shirley’ Inspired Bud Vases.
This crochet shopping bag is perfection. I love the shape, I love the color, I love it all. And as soon as I get some pretty, pretty yarn, I’ll be hooking up some of these cuties with the free pattern from Brittany at Just B Crafty!
I love roast chicken. It’s like this totally strange thing and I love making them. But I have to tell you, I’ve never roasted up a chicken that looked half as scrumptious as that fantastic fowl up in the picture. But I have good news, maybe even great news… Anyonita Nibbles will show you how to make this fantastic supper for Mother’s Day, or as I plan to make it, any day!
And here are my honorable mentions!
