So, what have you been up to lately? I’ve been, in no particular order, getting the worst haircut of my life (seriously, it’s baaaad), trying to get used to the Houston heat and humidity and spending time with my family while trying to make time for crafts and DIY.
You may have noticed that we have a second contributor here at Dream a Little Bigger! Yessirreebob, the lovely Miss Midsommarflicka from So, it Was Weekend. And I Was Bored., also seen in the very first installment of Crafting Abroad here very recently has begun writing interesting roundup posts and is the editor of the Crafting Abroad series! Yay! We’re so stoked to have you Mid and can’t wait to see everything you have to share with us. Want to see Mid’s first post? And don’t forget the very talented RaChil from The Cwafty Blog is also writing here these days! Check out her posts by visiting her author page here – or by clicking her photo in the right-hand side bar under contributors!
Which brings me to this… are you a crafty, DIY or food blogging type big or small? Apply to contribute to Dream a Little Bigger here! To be honest I’m only looking for 1-2 more to add to the team I’ve already created, but if you’re interested I’ll be coming back to these applications when I need to expand the team further! My first super lovely favorite this week is this awesome, inspired by Urban Outfitters over at Brave New Home (and what a FAB blog name, btw). Though it looks difficult, and totally designer, this ring holder is actually easy, and bonus points, inexpensive to make. See how to make your own: DIY Origami Ring Holder
Can you believe that bag is made of Duct Tape? I honestly couldn’t either! Cindy from DIY Beautify will show you how to make your own sturdy and waterproof bag out of patterned tapes. Amazing! Waterproof Duct Tape Pool (or beach) Bag Tutorial
I love feeding wild things whether they be deer, squirrels or birds. And when I saw these amazing DIY mason jar bird feeders from Little House Living I just knew they would make the perfect addition to my mothers fantastic flowerbeds. Mason Jar Bird Feeder
So it would appear that my current, crafty crush is on Andrew & Dennis, otherwise known as the Crafty Lumberjacks. Their projects are simple and easy to recreate, but so interesting and unique! These candles are no exception. I seriously don’t know if I could possibly love them more! Vintage Summer Postcard Candles
And I can’t end this Link It or Lump It without sharing at least one recipe! And the one that totally caught my eye is Guri Guri, a Hawaiian ice cream from My Pinventures! Now, ice cream is always all right by me, but add in the fact that this is wicked easy and only uses 3, yes THREE ingredients. Awesome! Guri Guri – Hawaiian Ice Cream

Grab the buttons below to show you’ve been featured or that you proudly link up! Share the love, grab a button! The RULES – because I took the time to write ’em up:
- Link anything you made yourself but nothing that is available for sale. (you don’t have to have a blog or site just leave that bit empty or link up your Facebook profile, etc.)
- Link back to Dream a Little Bigger to be considered for next week’s feature roundup! (you can grab that awesome button up there – hubba hubba!)
- Click through one or two of your favorite links and leave some comment love!
- Entries are randomly placed so that everyone gets top billing. I HATE when I get to a party late and my links get stuck somewhere in the middle! Well, that’s not gonna happen here, folks!
