I’m busy, busy, busy and trying to keep up with everything that life has been throwing at me lately. But I figure with a little bit of hard work and optimism things will all work out fabulously well in the end! And I’ll always make time for the furry friends around. This is Greta, behind her is Lisa and further back is Rosie. Oh, and Lisa has twin fawns that are teeny and their names are Bambi and Greg. They are a clique of deer that hang out in my parents yard and they are super, duper sweet. Not to mention gorgeous.
I’ve been able to snap these fab pics because I’ve been working remotely for the past week and will be for the next three so I can get a little bit of vacay with my nephews in. We’re making all sorts of kid friendly crafts and I’ll have those on the blog soon!
But in big, bigger and biggest news you may have noticed that yesterday’s post was NOT written by me. Nope, Dream a Little Bigger just got even bigger! In fact, things are getting a bit too big for me to handle alone. As such I’ve got some hot new contributors that will be sharing their crafts, DIYs and recipes with you. Yesterday you saw the first post by the lovely Miss RaChil from The Cwafty Blog and you’ll see even more the first and third Saturday of every month. I’ll let RaChil have the mic for a minute :)
RaChil grew up with an artist for a mother and a carpenter for a father; her childhood was spent with her nose in a book, hands covered in paint and head in the clouds. She has an insatiable urge to create and loves to share her quirky DIYs, artsy endeavors, awesome outfits and more over at The Cwafty Blog. Her life goal is to be able to make anything!
Welcome RaChil and thanks SO MUCH for joining the contributing team here at Dream a Little Bigger!

To be honest I’ve never messed with plate chargers. They just seem like so much effort for people to not even notice but manage to get dirty at the same time. Guess my peeps are just not that fancy. And they’re normally gold or silver or some kind of “fancy” thing and, well, I’m more of a comfy girl. So color me surprised when I saw this amazing charger DIY from Making It in the Mountains. Looks like this girl just might need to get her craft on!
I love interesting and exciting kid crafts. What is so exciting about kids painting? I mean, they’ve done that for ages, right? Well, this paint is 100% edible and uses 100% edible “brushes” like ice cream cones and celery. Get the genius plan over at View from the Fridge. Edible Stamp Art
To be honest I haven’t been totally down with the whole pineapple thing BUT when I saw this print from Sisters, What! I immediately loved it. And wanted it and thought that it was perfectly framed and the perfect colors and just, well, perfect. Get the blue pineapple for free (full image above available for purchase in the Etsy shop for only three smackers!). Pineapple Print Freebie
Oh, gosh do these ice cream sandwiches from a Dash of Sanity not look super duper amazing?! These Tagalong inspired ice cream sandwiches are not only good looking, with the exception of the ice cream they’re totally homemade! Homemade Tagalong Ice Cream Sandwiches
I’ve recently switched over to only natural cleansers on my face and it’s amazing the difference I can feel. My skin feels softer and tighter and I just can’t explain how happy I am with my results. So when I spied this honey cinnamon face exfoliator scrub I knew it was something I needed to try. Pins and Procrastination will show you how to make your own, just don’t be tempted to eat it (though you technically could :) Honey Cinnamon Face Exfoliator Scrub
I had never heard this quote prior to seeing this post by Elegance and Enchantment but I’m so glad that I know it now. One of my pet peeves are people who just can’t be gracious and it’s such an important part of being a person others love to be around. Be pretty if you can, be witty if you must, but be gracious if it kills you. Free Printable Elsie De Wolfe
So these would have been much better shared last week but I was being lazy and that just didn’t happen. BUT these Patriotic pops from Oh My! Creative can be shared any time of year. Plus, they only take three ingredients. Can you say win? Red White & Blue Patriotic Pops
DIY clothing is so much fun. You get to have something to add to your wardrobe exactly as you envision it in your head. I mean, how great is that? When I saw this tee really quickly scanning through the party pics I didn’t realize this top was DIY. But guess what? It is! And Stripes and Polka Dots just might surprise you by how it’s made!
