Earlier this week I shared a rather cute, if I may say so myself, pink wreath that is all sorts of curly and lovely. Today I’m going to show you something a bit less, well, pink. This year I’ve found myself drawn to the red and leopard of the season. Normally thinking the pair is tacky (and, let’s be honest now, it kind of is) I’ve always shied away from the pairing. But thinking it was just the ticket in small decorative doses, I decided to inject a little bit of spiciness into my V-day decor!
Since I also had a decent amount of pretty red trim I had purchased to make my own panties, but never got my sewing skills up to snuff for, it became a part of my tacky/cute garland instead.
The project is easy and really inexpensive which is always going to be a win in my book. Inspired by the fringe of sexy (and perhaps still tacky) lingerie these hearts are not only red and leopard print, but also fringed out the wazoo. Now I’m pretty sure that I’ve already sold you on this project, so be sure to head on over to Mom Spark to get the full details to make your own. And if you decide to choose a color palette that’s a bit more refined, I won’t hold it against you! Fringed Red & Leopard Heart Garland TutorialWritten by Allison Murray - Visit Website
