So this whole blogger thing means I need to be an awesome social media person. But I’m not. Not hardly. I have the hardest time keeping profiles updated and finding interesting things to say or share. It’s really surprising that the blog is doing okay without that kind of support. Some take to it easily but not me.
My cup of social tea is Instagram and, unfortunately, I hardly use that professionally. I like taking pics of animals and sharing them which has absolutely nothing, for the most part, of this blog. But you’ll find kitties galore in my feed because I adore them. Even if one kitty did get sick with a water bug (a.k.a. cockroach to everyone but my Momma who hates them being called that even though it’s just a part of life and not a dirty thing here) and while I disgustedly cleaned the mess, the bug revived and fell out of the paper towel down on my foot which was awful. But even worse is that it ran away. I screamed. Loudly. It was one of the nastiest things ever and a true testament to how strong those nasty little suckers are. It survived being in the stomach of one of my cats. That’s insane.
But that whole ordeal didn’t stop me from snapping super cute pictures of Marla laying next to me in bed holding onto my arm with her paw. Because cats are awesome.
Sometimes I’ll share my crafts and I really should get onto doing that more often, but if you dig kitties and dogs and, sometimes, even deer you should give me a follow :)
But let’s quit talking about sick cats and nasty bugs and get back to the craft at hand… I made an awesome Instagram logo purse out of felt for, literally, just a few bucks. It’s super cute and it holds my keys, phone and a few other necessities no problem-o. It’s the perfect little bag for a trip to the zoo or a quick run to the store and I love it!
