If it glitters, if it dazzles, if it’s shiny or in any way ostentatious, I am going to love it. Apparently this kind of love is genetic. My sister and nephews are the same way. Family says we’re like monkeys. They dig shiny business, too.
So this Friday I set out to find some way to bling my stuff up. Check up the Friday roundup below! To ge to the original post, click the image or link!
Everything over at I Spy DIY is tutorial gold, but I absolutely adore this bracelet. I’m pretty sure that I’m going to have to make it soon and in multiple colors! It’s really darn easy, too!
I see collar necklaces and I adore them. Not sure if I would wear them, though. They almost seem like they would be uncomfortable. I’m not in the market for a new house, either, but I still window shop. If I decide that I’m going to start wearing a collar necklace, this tutorial from Kate Morawetz is going to be the one I use. It is to die for!
Blingy accessories are where it’s at, if you ask me. Kirsten from Studs and Pearls makes this almost but not quite Hello Kitty ID case with rhinestone trim. This DIY is especially awesome because her use of materials means you aren’t placing every stinkin’ rhinestone by hand. In the end, the result is perfect!
Sometimes a little bit of blingy pop is all you need. Simple and classy, this DIY helps you turn a plain old tee into a real statement. Get to Glitter ‘N Glue to check it out!
I’m one of those people that groans when Hobby Lobby starts putting out Christmas ornaments before kids have even gone back to school, so I’m really surprised to be sharing this in August. The thing is, how stinkin’ awesome is this? They look like they’d be so difficult to make but they’re beyond simple. Head to The Creativity Exchange and bookmark it for November!
I fell in love with these flats the second I put my peepers to them. Aimee at Clones ‘N’ Clowns really knocks this one out of the park, if you ask me. I love the painted rhinestones and the pattern is killer!
So this week I am sharing TWO posts from one blogger. I simply couldn’t resist! Glitter shoes have been done to death and the vast majority of them I’m just not impressed with anymore. THESE babies, however from Kate Morawetz are awesome and perfect.
Prepare to get crazy. You’ve seen glittered shoes, glittered thingamajigs and the like all over the internet. But, have you ever seen a glittered floor? Kathy over at Crafty Chica got inspired at the hardware store and went with it. How freakin’ cool is that?
